Konsulat Rusia di Yaman rosak di tengah2 Serangan Udara yang dipimpin SAUDI - Sumber Kedutaan



Borneo@WORK – Konsulat Jeneral Rusia di pelabuhan laut Yaman Aden telah rosak semasa serangan udara yang dilancarkan oleh gabungan Saudi yang dipimpin tentera dengan pemberontak Houthi, kata seorang sumber di kedutaan Rusia di Yaman.

"Tidak ada satu tetingkap tunggal utuh kiri," kata sumber kepada Sputnik. Satu kemungkinan penutupan konsulat dan pemindahan warga Rusia kini sedang disemak semula, tambah sumber itu.

Pada hari Rabu pesawat Rusia mencatatkan untuk pemindahan rakyat Rusia terperangkap dalam konflik yang telah dialihkan ke Kaherah, selepas gabungan itu menafikannya mendarat di ibu negara Yaman Sanaa.

Pemindahan tersebut kini telah ditangguhkan sehingga Khamis, apabila penerbangan sewa khas "disertai dengan 2 pesawat lain" dijangka tiba di Sanaa, menurut sumber Kommersan harian Rusia. Selain Rusia, pesawat itu juga akan membantu untuk mengosongkan warganegara Komanwel Negara-negara Merdeka, tambah sumber itu.

Russia’s Yemen consulate damaged amid Saudi-led airstrikes - embassy source

The Russian Consulate General in the Yemeni sea port of Aden has been damaged during airstrikes launched by the Saudi-led military coalition against the Houthi rebels, said a source in the Russian embassy in Yemen.

“There is not a single intact window left,” the source told Sputnik. A possibility of consulate closure and the evacuation of Russian nationals is currently under review, the source added.

Earlier on Wednesday a Russian plane charted for the evacuation of Russian citizens caught in the conflict had been diverted to Cairo, after the coalition denied it landing in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

The evacuation has now been delayed until Thursday, when the chartered flight “accompanied by two other aircraft” is expected to arrive in Sanaa, according to a source of Russian daily Kommersan. In addition to Russians, the aircraft will also help to evacuate the citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the source added.

Pada hari Rabu, pemberontak Houthi telah dilaporkan mengawal kediaman Presiden di Aden selepas pertempuran yang membunuh 15 orang dan mencederakan berpuluh-puluhan.

"Houthis telah menguasai kediaman presiden, pertempuran sedang berlaku di sekitar kediaman antara Houthis dan kumpulan bersenjata yang menyokong Presiden Hadi. Orang awam yang telah menyahut seruan [Yaman] Menteri Luar Riyadh Yaseen untuk melindungi bandar dan mengembalikan kawalan ke atas kediaman yang juga mengambil bahagian dalam pertempuran, "kata sumber tempatan memberitahu Sputnik.

Menurut laporan di Yaman Hun Aden, puak bertempur di Aden telah merompak bangunan konsulat Rusia. Saksi mata memetik, agensi yang mendakwa bahawa pemberontak Houthi didakwa merampas dokumen dan peralatan pejabat dan membawa ianya ke destinasi yang tidak diketahui. Ketika dihubungi TASS, Kedutaan Rusia di Sana'a tidak mengesahkan laporan ini, hanya mengatakan bahawa sejak beberapa hari lepas misi diplomatik telah "bekerja dalam mod kecemasan."

On Wednesday, Houthi rebels have reportedly take control of the Presidential residence in Aden after violent clashes that killed 15 and injured dozens.

“Houthis have taken control of the presidential residence, clashes are taking place around the residence between Houthis and armed groups that support President Hadi. Civilians who have answered the call of [Yemeni] Foreign Minister Riyadh Yaseen to protect the city and restore control over the residence are also taking part in the clashes,” a local source told Sputnik.

According to reports in the Yemeni Hun Aden, the factions clashing in Aden have looted the Russian consulate building. Citing eyewitnesses, the agency claims that Houthi rebels allegedly seized documents and office equipment and took them to an unknown destination. When contacted by TASS, the Russian Embassy in Sanaa did not confirm these reports, saying only that over the last few days the diplomatic mission had been “working in emergency mode.”

Sementara itu Mesir telah mula pemindahan rakyatnya dari Yaman sama ada melalui lintasan sempadan atau melalui laut dalam usaha bersepadu dengan Oman dan Arab Saudi, kata kementerian luar negara. India, dalam pada itu, menghantar sebuah kapal "ke dalam Meal bom" di Aden, untuk memindahkan 349 rakyatnya kepada Djibouti dan kemudian terbang ke rumah mereka.

Minggu lalu, 5 negara-negara Teluk dan Mesir melancarkan satu siri serangan udara terhadap pemberontak Syiah Houthi, yang telah berjaya menguasai ibu kota dan ‘swathes’ besar wilayah di barat negara ini. Selain Jordan, Sudan, Maghribi dan Pakistan mengisytiharkan kesediaan mereka untuk mengambil bahagian dalam usaha tentera. Jiran Arab Saudi, telah mengambil alih kawalan di pelabuhan udara dan laut negara, kononnya untuk menghalang kemasukan senjata dari luar negara.

Kerajaan Yaman, kini dalam buangan di Arab Saudi, telah menegaskan bahawa gabungan itu perlu melancarkan operasi darat dengan pemberontak secepat mungkin. "Ya, saya memanggil ini kerana saya berfikir di beberapa peringkat serangan udara akan menjadi tidak berkesan," Riyadh Yassin kepada AFP di ibu negara Arab, di mana beliau telah mengambil perlindungan bersama-sama dengan Presiden Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi.

Meanwhile Egypt has begun the evacuation of its citizens from Yemen either through border crossings or by sea in a coordinated effort with Oman and Saudi Arabia, the country’s foreign ministry said. India, in the meantime, sent a vessel “into barrage of bombs” in Aden, to evacuate 349 of its nationals to Djibouti and then fly them back home.

Last week, five Gulf states and Egypt launched a series of airstrikes against the Shia Houthi rebels, who had gained control of the capital and large swathes of territory in the west of the country. In addition Jordan, Sudan, Morocco and Pakistan declared their willingness to participate in the military effort. Neighboring Saudi Arabia, has taken full control of the country’s air and sea ports, purportedly to prevent the inflow of weapons from abroad.

The Yemeni government, now in exile in Saudi Arabia, has been insisting that the coalition should launch a ground operation against the rebels as soon as possible. “Yes, I’m calling for this because I think at some stage air strikes will be ineffective,” Riyadh Yassin told AFP in the Saudi capital, where he has taken refuge along with President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi.
